1 What kind of clothing works best for a keepsake?
Most items can be used – shirts, jumpers, dresses, pyjamas, or baby outfits are all great choices. If you’re unsure about a fabric, just send me a quick message and I’ll happily guide you.
2How many pieces of clothing do I need to send?
Usually 1–2 pieces are enough for a single bear or cuddly. If you’d like me to combine different fabrics for a patchwork style, you’re welcome to send a few more.
3Do I need to wash the clothes first?
Yes please – freshly washed items help me work with the fabric safely and ensure your keepsake stays in the best condition.
4Can you add embroidery or personal details?
Of course! Every keepsake includes an embroidered name or short message in the price. You can also choose where you’d like it placed, or I can suggest the best spot.
5Can you add a printed photo too?
Yes – if you’d like a little photo patch included, just send me a clear digital photo (JPG or PNG). This is a special add-on and makes your keepsake even more personal.
6How long will it take to make my keepsake?
On average, it takes about 4–6 weeks once I’ve received your clothing. If I expect it to take longer (for example during busy times), I’ll always let you know.
7Will I get any leftover fabric back?
Yes, I’ll return any fabric I don’t use along with your finished keepsake – unless you’d prefer me not to.
8Are Memory Bears and Cuddlies safe for children to play with?
These keepsakes are handmade with love, but they’re designed as sentimental treasures rather than toys. They aren’t safety-tested for children under 14, so they’re best for display, gentle hugs, and keeping memories close.
9How do I send the clothing to you?
Once you’ve placed your order, I’ll give you my postal address. I always recommend using tracked postage so your precious items arrive safely.
10 Can I request a specific animal design?
Yes, absolutely! I use beautiful patterns from Funky Friends Factory, which means you can choose from a variety of animals. If you’d like to chat through the options, just send me a message – I’d love to help.
